Not a Fishing Rod (NaFR) is a small musical project built from fragments: short guitar sketches captured in quiet moments and later transformed in the studio into full compositions.
These pieces begin as flashes of thought condensed into melody, then opened up to be explained, explored, and exploited.
Blues & Greens with a Touch of Sludge gathers instrumental sketches written between 2018 and 2025. Each piece began as a small recording: a fragment of melody that lingered long enough to become something larger, over time. It was only later that their sequence began to reveal a subtle narrative of beginnings, relationships, births, loss, change, and the strange way memory reshapes itself as life moves forward. Most of these pieces originated years apart, reflecting the moments and people surrounding them.
